Authentication

• Intuit OAuth 2.0 with Accounting and OpenID scopes
• No storage of your QuickBooks password
• Disconnect / logout clears the local encrypted session

Data in transit & at rest

• HTTPS on https://qb.techvelt.com
• Encrypted iron-session cookie for OAuth tokens
• API calls to Intuit use bearer tokens over TLS

Application controls

• Payments are created only after an explicit user action
• Environment secrets stay in server-side configuration
• Demo mode never calls your live QuickBooks company
